Welcome to Stanny Shiu Violin Studio!

Based in the Mission Valley area of San Diego, my studio offers private violin lessons for students of all ages and levels, with a focus on strong fundamentals, musical understanding, and a broad repertoire.

As a violinist and educator with international performance and teaching experience, I hold a Master of Music degree in Violin Performance from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music and have taught at distinguished programs in both the United States and Asia.

In addition to private lessons, students are offered chamber music and solo performance opportunities, helping them build confidence and gain valuable stage experience.

Whether your goal is to excel in a school music program, youth orchestra, competition, or conservatory audition, I look forward to guiding you from the practice room to the concert stage.
